Sutz Residence

Originally a dilapidated house surrounded by an overgrown landscape, the neighboring homeowner purchased the lot and merged it with their property, resulting in a dramatic expansion of their home's footprint through a complete remodel. Terras Landscape Company was hired to transform the chaotic scenery into a new, park-like Mediterranean and natural landscape. Overflowing with ever-changing perennial colors, the design features decomposed granite pathways, variegated bluestone patios, and steppingstone promenades. Classical elements, such as Box hedges and globes, establish the framework for an allee affect of Anduze potted Mission Olives, beds of Lavender, Italian Cypress, Manzanita, and striking Crape Myrtles.
